About me

Bojan Lazarov is an actor, performer, movement artist, and educator based in Skopje, North Macedonia.

Bojan holds a BA degree in Acting from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. He graduated in 2013 in the class of Professor Vladimir Milchin, with the highest grades.

Bojan shows special talent and interest in movements and dance, so from the academic 2014/15 year, he was actively involved as a demonstrator on the subject Stage movements and dances at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.

As an actor who shows a unique talent in stage movement and dance, he also actively collaborates with Bullfrogs Ballet School and Production as an actor, dancer, acting teacher, and co-creator in several choreo-dramas, and dance/theatre productions. 

 

Bojan holds an MA in Ballet Pedagogy from the Faculty of Music Arts, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Skopje. In 2016 Bojan successfully defended his master's thesis titled "The role of the subject Stage movements and dances on the way towards the bodily articulation of the future actors".

From 2017 to February 2024, Bojan worked as an Assistant Professor on the subject Stage movement and dances at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts.

​

Throughout his career, he participated in dance and theatre projects, as an actor, director, and choreographer, including: "Is this me? Who are we?", "Storm and Breakthrough", "Cipollino", "And what next?", "Annie", "Facing", "The Bible", "The Sound of Music", "William's Dream", "Checkmate my love", etc...

​

Bojan has taken part in workshops and masterclasses led by European theatre masters and directors, such as Eugenio Barba, Jan Fabre, Fabio Tolledi, Sergei Ostrenko, etc...

​

Bojan is also a researcher with a strong interest in academic understanding and exploring the Information and Communication Technology application in the research of movement and dance techniques and physical education. He has published the article "The role of data analytics and visualization in development of the actor’s body articulation" in International Scientific Journal, and he is working on his next article - "The utility of data analytics and visualization in physical actor training".
